What’s Going On?

We continue to be busy over here at Workman Communications. Lets take a peek into these last couple of weeks…

We started one of our bigger jobs with our friends over at USGS. We have had all of our technicians rotating in and out of there while they also take on all of our additional projects along with our day to day time & material, labor, and services calls.

The job with USGS contains a total of 92 drops using CAT6 CMR and CAT6A CMR cables. Along with hooking up a projector with a CAT6 cable, a media converter installation, speakers including the speaker wire, a 100′ pull down projection screen and mounting an 8′ white board all in the same location of the building.

Our team did install a CCTV system using 4mp Dome cameras hooking up to a CAT6 cables. They also are installing an alarm system with conduit and wiring for 10 door contacts, 5 roll-up door locations, and 5 man door locations. They also have motion sensors, sirens and keypads to install through out the building along with setting up a 2-post rack.

Along with that project, our team also started our job with Affordable Dentures. This project contains about 26 drops using CAT5e CMR cables, 1 TV location which includes HDMI and RG6 cabling , 12 speaker installations , 2 volume controls and a 70 V Amp. We also can’t forget about the control rack, for this job we used a 19″ wall mounted rack with a swing frame.

Here at Workman Communications we pride ourselves with having excellent work ethic and time management skills. Along with these great jobs we have accomplished we also made the time to also include Jack Rabbit Brewing Company and Berryessa Gap Vineyards In this period of time.

Berryessa Gap Vineyards was started in 2000 when the son of Dan Martinez Sr. , Don Martinez jr., and collaborative business and farming partner Santiago Moreno bought the Coble Ranch and have flourished ever since. As they are expanding they have contacted us to help with their low voltage needs. Our techs had their hands full while completing this job , they installed conduit, speakers, volume controls, a CCTV system, and a new enclosure.

Jackrabbit Brewing Company was established in 2013 by 4 brewers. They are a growing company who chose Workman Communications to help make their  journey a little easier. Our techs installed a plywood and conduit from the controller to the ceiling , along with installing 24-4 cable drops to a dozen tank locations and also having to connect the valve wires to the control box.

As we continue to stay busy we will keep you all updated as much possible. Stay tuned for all the great jobs we have coming up.

Thank you for taking the time to catch up with us!
